| Why are Russian ladies seeking western husbands?
Naturally, Russian females like Russian males. Unfortunately, the number of thoughtful, loving, dedicated, family-oriented men in Russia and the CIS leaves a lot to be desired. A significant number of men are alcohol abusers and lazy. As a rule, they spend time with friends, drink and have affairs with other women. Thus, Russian wives do not only have to work hard, but also to do the housework, which is typical of the Russian society. Very often Russian males are not engaged in raising of children and actually have an ill-defined understanding of 'a good father', because many of them were raised by mothers who lost their husbands in the war.
Moreover, women significantly outnumber males in Russia. Due to a considerable number of females, Russian males are often rather spoiled and do not value their wives the way they should. Women feel happy even if they marry such a kind of males as depicted above, since they are afraid of being lonely, despite their strong-willed and decisive character. Women who lack confident, put up with the terrible conduct of their husbands, others break up with their partners.
In fact, rare are cases when 35-year-olds meet husbands. If a lady has children, she is unlikely to get married, too.
A significant number of Russian females assume that western men make better husbands, as they are more liberated, family-oriented than Russian men and will pitch in with the household duties. They suppose that they will have a stable financially secure marriage with overseas men. A lot of Russian women also think that in the West they will have more opportunities for self-realization and can insure a happier childhood for their kids than in the homeland.
Most Russian females marry experienced overseas men, because they feel safer knowing they are unlikely to be dumped for a younger female. Since females are seeking love and financial security, they need experienced and reliable men nearby.
There are countless examples of happy international marriages with Russian girls. If the family is based on mutual trust, respect, understanding and love, cultural differences will not be an obstacle to create a happy stable family. |
